Appointments

This practice works on a one-on-one basis.  There will be no other patient in the clinic at the time of your treatment.  Dr Bullock-Saxton will require 60 mins for your first appointment.   A thorough history is taken as well as a detailed physical examination.  Follow-up appointments may range in time between 30 min (Standard) or 45 min (Extended).  Please bring along any investigations such as XRay, MRI etc that may be relevant.  Please also wear clothing that allows easy access to the painful area.

Note: Should your condition require a home visit this can be arranged.

Fees

The practice fees reflect time spent with an advance practitioner and physiotherapist with 40 years experience on a one-on-one basis.

• Initial consultation or new problem (item no 500) – $180
• Standard follow-up (Item no 505) – $ 120
• Extended follow-up  (Item no 509) – $150
• Home visit fee is dependent on travel distance from the clinic – (Item No 536) average = $120 (for standard appointment) – $180 (for extended appointment)

Should difficulties arise regarding covering of gap fees, please do not hesitate to discuss this with Joanne at the time of your appointment.

Payment

Payment for treatment is at the time of your appointment.  We can swipe your private health fund card for your refund as well as settle any gap payment by credit card, cheque, EFT or cash.  Most Health funds do not recognize that more time spent with a client can be efficient and effective and will refund for treatment based on a 15 – 20 minunte consultation with the therapist.  Please check with your health fund what gap fee you will be required to pay.
